Let us stay in the truth

Throughout everyday we all get confronted with different situations,people and places.

Some of these situations may provoke us to doubt who we are-in Christ I mean

Other people or places might inspire us to be who we really are-hold on to them!

Thoughts(MIND) may come up in our minds straight from the pit of hell-thoughts of rejection by others,thoughts of lust,sexual perversions of every kind,thoughts of hatred,jealousy etc.We all get bombarded with hundreds and thousands of thoughts everyday-some will come from Satan-the father of all lies,some will come from Jesus-The Way,Truth,and Life,and some from your own sinfull nature which will also lie to you.I think that it is important that we know who we are in Christ!-see my note on our true IDENTITY IN Jesus.After all it is the only truth there is.

Feelings(EMOTIONS)!-oh feelings! Yes we all have them to and they also lie to us sometimes, and other times they tell the truth-so you cannot rely on your feelings! They are too fickle anyway!

Desires/or your will(WILL) to do/say/act on something or someone-they may lie to you also,and other times reflect the Father heart of God-dont follow them either!!!!!

We all consist of Body-your physical human body,male or female God created us,Soul-your mind,will and emotions,AND most importantly SPIRIT!-Jesus Christ/Holy Spirit/God in you!

As you will see that I have already discussed the soul,Your body doesnt need discussion it is straight forward man or woman,Now the Spirit:

• You must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God
• You are born again if you accept and believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God that came in the flesh to die for our sins
• Born again means that you are born of the Spirit,You are a part of God Himself,Jesus Christ takes up residence inside of your body now! Truly amazing!
• Everything that Jesus has and all that He is now belongs to you after you have been born again

Remember: Your soul is not the part that was made new when you were born again!-it is only your spirit! That is the reason why you will,and me also experience wrong and sinfull thoughts,feelings,and desires!We have to be transformed by the renewing of our minds!-Please read Romans 12:1-2

Rom 12:1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 

Rom 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

So it is very clear what God expects  from us:

1. We must offer ourselves to Him so He can use us as He wishes
2. We must be transformed by our minds being renewed, and not to become like this world

How do we then STAY IN THE TRUTH?

• Become born again from God by asking Jesus to live inside of you.
• Do not panick when you experience wrong and sinfull thoughts,feelings and desires!
• Think on things that are true and lovely!-Read the word of God daily and pray!
• It is God's word that transforms and renews our minds
• Rest in the fact that you have a new Identity!!!!!-You are not defined by your thoughts,feelings,actions or desires, but You are defined by your Saviour JESUS CHRIST-HALELUJA!
• Brake away from your sinfull behaviours! And desire to live a God-pleasing life
• Love much!!!!!
